About Me
I'm never good with the "about me" section. I never really know where to begin, but I'll try my best. My name is Amy, I was born in Lima, Peru, but three months later after my birth I moved to Toronto, Canada with my mom. By this time, my dad already had a head start here in Toronto. I was raised as a catholic. Going to a catholic elementry school (Stella Maris), and later going to a catholic high school (Dante Alighieri Academy). Going school, starting somewhere in daycare when I was 3 I suppose, I was introduced to art. I remember the colouring books, and always colouring outside of the picture probably like every child. Since then, I was obsessed with drawing, colouring, and new from very little I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. In high school, I heard of a practice called "graphic design", and I knew I wanted to do this as a career. In this time in high school, I was also introduced to computers, which also lead me to my curiousity to digital art. This of course led me to my college choice of graphic design. I took about 6 months off to take a break of schooling. I basically spent 6 months spending time with friends, playing games (occassionally), kept myself busy with artistic activities. After that, January hit, and I started a course on Visual Arts Fundementals. This was a year certificate course. I finished this course successfully, and through that course I was easily admitted to Graphic Design. I started that in January of 2005, and since then I haven't stopped. I am currently in my final months of Graphic Design, and loving it. Although, I discovered it's a tough career to have, because of the many deadlines that must be met. It scares me, but it's something I want to persue. In the future, I would also like to learn video game design. I know it's hard, but it's also another thing I'm into. I actually rediscovered video games in January 2008 when I took a course titled "Intro to Video Game Design". Since then, I went out and bought an XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS Lite, and even they're predecessors the Nintendo GameCube, and the first XBOX. As you see now, I'm quite a techy person. I love technology, and I love art. Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Please try again. 2 Comments |
