Hello all-
Wanted to share a new rosary with all of you. My brother Rich's grand-daughter Emily will make her First Communion this coming May 12th. I wanted to make her an heirloom quality rosary to remember this blessed event. In order to come up with some design ideas I asked her a couple of question. One was, what is your favorite color? Her response was and I quote, "RAINBOW!" (Out of the mouths of babes!).
So- in order to satisfy her favorite color desires, for the Pater Nosters I chose to use a 12 MM bead made of chips of dyed Mother Of Pearl cast in resin. The Aves are natural White Shirakai. This rosary is completed in solid silver.
Emily's middle name is "Rose". She was named after my mothers maiden last name which was "Rose". So- in order to keep this as personal as I could I chose to use the Double-Rose Rosary Center.
Emily will make her First Communion at "Nativity Of Our Savior" parish in Portage Indiana.
This rosary is a gift from her Uncle Bob and Aunt Kelly. I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Blessings! I placed a couple pictures of this rosary in my photo album- Robert's Heirloom Rosaries Album. They will be the last ones listed.

Robert, the rosary for Emily is just extraordinary. What little girl would not delight in just the overall color scheme itself. But to have the "rainbow" beads, just as she wanted, the "pearl of great price" beads and the rose center piece, you have made this a particularly unique and so very special First Communion rosary. I'm sure she will be thrilled. Best wishes to your family as this little one receives Our Lord for the very first time. God bless, - Mary | |

Thank you Mary! She's a peach! Her sister Sara will be confirmed this fall- so- I will be making something special for her also. I am so honored to have the skills to spead the word of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Spring is in the air- it's been raining here for day- looking forward to getting out and working in the flower garden.
